Penelec and the Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative provide the majority of the county with electric service while Pennsylvania Power and Light (PPL) services the southeastern part of the county.   Natural Gas Providers: P.G. Energy is currently the only gas provider in Susquehanna County with a customer territory located in the southeastern portion of the county. This company provides natural gas service to the Vision 2000 Industrial Park, Forest City.There are also a number of LP gas providers in the county with the potential to serve industry needs.   Internet Service Providers: Internet service providers include local telephone and cable companies, each with their own territory within the county.Currently, the county’s telephone companies are extending T1, T3, and DSL capabilities throughout their service areas.
